Is the free plan actually usable, or is it a trial?
It is the product. Game review, unlimited puzzles, sparring, the Woodpecker method and the full opening trainer are free today, and most of it works without an account. Free is not a demo with a countdown.
What will Pro add?
The AI layer: a coach that explains the moves behind your accuracy numbers, priority access to deeper cloud analysis, and written notes for opening courses. Everything in Free stays exactly as it is — the free tier does not shrink when Pro arrives.
Do I need an account?
Not for reviewing games, puzzles, sparring or the opening trainer. Google sign-in only connects the dashboard and streak sync across your devices.
When does Pro launch?
It is in development. The prices shown are the plan, and checkout does not exist yet — until it does, nothing is charged and everything on this page works for free.
How is this different from the free analysis on Chess.com or Lichess?
Chesslume is built around your own games. A review does not end at a report: the moves that cost you the most become puzzles, and the opening you left book in becomes a drill. Analysis is the start of the loop here, not the whole product.
Will my progress survive the Pro launch?
Yes. Puzzle rating, streaks and learned opening lines carry over — the free plan keeps everything it has today.
