About Chesslume
Chesslume is a free chess-analysis tool that helps you learn from your own games. Import your matches from Chess.com or Lichess, or upload a PGN file, then replay every move and see exactly where the game turned.
What Chesslume does
- Import games from Chess.com and Lichess by username, or upload a PGN file directly.
- Replay and review each move on an interactive board with an evaluation bar and engine suggestions.
- Engine analysis powered by Stockfish, running both in your browser for instant feedback and on our servers for full-game reports.
- Move classifications — see which moves were best, inaccuracies, mistakes, or blunders, along with accuracy scores for each player.
- Coaching insight that highlights your biggest mistakes so you know what to work on next.
Why we built it
The fastest way to improve at chess is to understand your own games — not just whether you won or lost, but the specific moments where the evaluation swung. Chesslume makes that review fast, clear, and free, so you can spend less time setting up analysis and more time learning.
How it works
Live evaluation runs entirely in your browser using a WebAssembly build of Stockfish, so you get instant feedback as you click through moves. Full-game reports are computed by native Stockfish on our servers and cached so that revisiting a game is fast and efficient.
A note on independence
Chesslume is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Chess.com or Lichess. We use their public APIs to fetch games you choose to import. Chesslume is supported by advertising to keep it free for everyone.
